Pears Baby Reigning Queen, Somkene, Dies At The Age Of 2



The reigning Pears Baby Queen Somkene Chukwuka Eze died on Friday May 15th after she slumped in her school and was rushed to a hospital in the Magodo area of Lagos. They tried to revive her but to no avail.

The fact that she was an Angel can never be over emphasized. Everybody loved her, in church, school and even at her parents offices. The joy that she brought to her family and all of us in her two years knows no bounds. She turned 2 years May 6th.
She won the Pears Baby competition when she was just 1 on June 8th 2014. So sad to learn of her death. May God give her parents the strength to bear this loss. Rest in peace, little Angel. How do you even report the death of a baby? This is so sad and my heart goes out to her parents.

A military aircraft recently released from presidential fleet and handed over to the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has reportedly crashed in Makurdi, Benue State. The Nation gathered from a senior Air Force officer in Makurdi that the Augusta AW101 helicopter crashed after landing.
