BABY RESCUED 8 DAYS AFTER BURIAL BY PARENTS
A newborn baby has been found alive after being buried for 8 days in a cemetery in the mountains of Guangxi province in southern China by his parents who were disappointed after he was born with a cleft lip. The baby boy was miraculously discovered after a middle-aged woman identified as Lu Fenglian heard his cry while she was collecting herbs for Chinese medicine around the mountains filled with unmarked graves. She was shocked to hear the crying sounds and believing the mountain to be haunted by some evil spirits, she ran to a Buddhist temple close by for help. A priest at the temple followed her and after listening to the sound, was convinced that it was the sound of a crying child. He immediately called in the police who dug the area and rescued the baby.
