Letter To My Late Dad; One Full Year since you left us

Dear Dad,

Today makes it is one full year since you left us and embarked on this great journey to the other side of existence.
On that fateful morning, Monday 19th of May 2014 at exactly six minutes to six you took a very long and relieving breath, It never occurred to me but behold that was your last.
That was indeed your last! That was the last breath that broke the camel's back! The breath that robbed me of my beloved Father, in a matter of minutes you were forever gone.
Mummy cried because she knew that was the last time she is ever going to set her eyes on her beloved husband, the man who could bear all the burden on this earthto make sure his family is in order.
It now occurred to me that I just lost a beloved father, a mentor, a man who always believed in me despite all the struggle.
I will never find a special Dad as you, I wish you could have stayed forever, if dreams were reality, if dreams always come true, we wouldn't have been world apart today. By now we would have still been together.
Distance is one thing that keeps us apart but Dad, you will always remain in our heart.
What a caring father, a unique and loving husband, a great friend and mentor to all you were.
I believe you are now sound and smiling down at us from heaven.
Dad we miss you a lot but our only consolation is that we know that you are no longer sick, you feel no pain in your body anymore.
My humble request is that you intercede for us, ask God to keep blessing and protecting us here so that one day we will finally make you proud.
Good night daddy.....wish you the sweetest dreams, bye till we meet again on that day that we will part no more.
You will always be in my mind and the mind of each and every member of the family.

Your Son Kingsley.
