De Gea Is My Young Player Of The Year Not Harry Kane – Thierry Henry

Manchester United shot stopper, David De Gea should have won the PFA Young Player of the Year, Thierry Henry insists.

Speaking on Saturday Night Football, Sky Sports pundit Henry claims De Gea, not Tottenham striker Harry Kane, should have been given the nod for the honour.

“He was my young player of the year,” he said.

“Look at what he’s been doing for Manchester United this season.

“He has won so many points for the team and for that particular reason he was my young player of the year,” he added.

“As a goalkeeper it’s difficult to win points but he did.

“He kept Crystal Palace at bay and how many times have we seen it this season?”
